Hello, July!

This July we are kickin’ it in Billings, Montana with my husband’s (rather large) family.

In the summer, this place is alive with vibrant colors, big blooms, and clear lakes aplenty.

Here’s some inspiration that I will carry back to Kaua’i with me.

And then there’s the rodeo. Fourth of July in Red Lodge.

It was low key and easy to slip into the cowboy/cowgirl vibe.

We stayed in a cozy log cabin before our big adventure day through Glacier National Park.

48 Degrees had us all cuddled up and cozy.

We started the day driving to see St. Mary’s Falls. It was damp and rainy so we skipped the hike and continued on to the Going To The Sun Road. It took about three hours to drive the 55 mile road, with stops along the way to see glaciers, turquoise lakes, and wait for it……….bears!

I did not get a picture, but two cubs and a mama black bear crossed the road in front of us and headed down to the river.

I cannot end this post without a shout out to the man who did ALL the driving, Mr. Montana, and most importantly the leader of our happy family, Adam.
