COLLECTIBLE GLASS ART
HANDCRAFTED IN MONTANA

Your customers value handmade goods

Now, you can offer them access to unique, handcrafted products through a wholesale partnership with Rosemary Glass.

Here’s a sampling of the unique products your customers will love (click photos to enlarge):

UNIQUE GLASS GUITAR PICKS

With a built-in grip and smooth tapered end, guitar players will appreciate the bright, amplified tone of this special pick.

This durable, borosilicate glass guitar pick has gained popularity through the national catalog Uncommon Goods and the New York Times travel section.

The size of the pick is one inch. The grip is pressed into the glass during the torching process and makes a positive difference in the comfort you get playing this pick! The resulting sound has been most commonly called "warm and bright.”

REUSABLE GLASS STRAWS

One glass straw can replace thousands of plastic straws. Plus, they’re BPA-free, durable, reusable, and easy to clean!

Each straw is crafted with borosilicate tubing, the strongest glass commercially available. The ends are rolled and polished for smoothness and durability.

I take great care in the production process and place each finished straw in a kiln with a digitally controlled environment to slowly cool down overnight, ensuring a well-made piece.

To make the experience complete, I include the cleaning brush and a hand sewn pouch for display and safe storage.

HAND-BLOWN GLASS PENDANTS

Indulge in the beauty of handcrafted art with these stunning pendants. Each piece is meticulously crafted by myself in the Rosemary Glass studio. I take great pride in the intricate designs and depth of each pendant, inspired by the colors and textures of iconic Montana locations.

As a one-of-a-kind creation, each pendant is truly unique and crafted entirely from molten glass. The pendants have a large glass bail for wearing, which provides flexibility to change from cord to chain for different looks.

HANGING GLASS DECOR

Timeless glass ornaments give a stylish twist to traditional decorations. Available in a variety of colors, these make the perfect gift for those seeking to celebrate the unique beauty of Montana.

ABOUT THE PROCESS

Here’s a glimpse at the 4-step process I use to ensure the quality and craftsmanship of each of my wholesale products.

GLASS-29.jpg

Step 1: Inspiration and Setting Up

Torch sculpture happens in many fluid motions that follow each other without pause until the piece of glass artwork is complete. The glass is always being spun, to stay centered and balanced

Step 2: Crafting the Glass

There is a fine push and pull between my will and the intangible voice of the glass itself. Once the glass is white hot and liquid, I am the guide, and gravity makes the rules.

Step 3: Into the Kiln

The glass piece is placed in the oven (kiln). The kiln door remains closed until completely cooled down. The next morning the glass is colorful, vibrant, and ready to be handled.

Step 4: Into the World!

The guitar picks are hand-tested for strength, the straws get paired with a cleaning brush, and the pendants are tied up on the very best match of an adjustable cord. Then, these beauties are ready to go!

About The Artist

My Journey to the Last Best Place

Hi, I’m Rosemary. I started in the artistic medium of glass in the summer of 2002. It wasn’t until I moved from the Garden State (NJ) to the Garden Island of Kaua’i, that I began to pursue glass art as a career. For the next 20 years, I sculpted and sold countless glass pieces at art shows, wholesale to galleries, and at the famous Hanalei Farmers Market. One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is connecting with people from all walks of life and sharing my love for art.

In December 2022, my youngest daughter Claire was diagnosed with a significant case of pediatric scoliosis. My family of five left paradise to seek medical treatment and support from my husband's large family, in his hometown of Billings, Montana.

Shipping torches, a 397 pound kiln, and several dozen cases of heavy glass, was cost prohibitive. After a 3 month hiatus from melting glass, when we found out our family would be in Montana full time for the next 12-24 months, I decided to start building a second glass studio.

The inspiration here is endless. And so is my desire to translate the wild beauty of one of the few remaining uninhabited places left in America, the Big Sky State.
